A blockage that comes back a few weeks after rodding
Grease build-up from a kitchen or restaurant
Scale in old cast-iron or clay pipes
Silt after flooding or building work
Roots showing on the camera
Slow drains across the whole property
If a drain has been rodded more than once, jetting is the next step. Rodding moves the problem along the pipe; jetting removes it and cleans the pipe wall.
What happens when we arrive
1
Choose the nozzle
Different jobs need different heads: a penetrating nozzle for blockages, a chain flail for scale, a root cutter for roots. We carry them all.
2
Jet from downstream
The hose goes in at the chamber below the blockage and works back, so debris flows away rather than into the house.
3
Camera afterwards
We check the pipe wall after jetting so you know it’s clean and whether there’s damage underneath the build-up.
What's on the van
4,000 psi, 60-litre-a-minute jetting unit
Nozzles from 25mm to 150mm pipe
Chain flail and root cutter heads
Reel with 60m of hose
CCTV camera to prove the result
What it can and can't fix
Jetting clears grease, scale, silt, wipes, roots and most soft blockages, and cleans the pipe to full bore. It won’t fix a broken pipe and it shouldn’t be used on a pipe the camera shows is already cracked; we check first.
Timing and price
45 minutes to two hours depending on the length of the run and how much build-up there is.
There are no prices on this page because the price depends on what we find and where. What we can promise is how it works: the call-out is £49, the engineer looks at the job and quotes it in front of you before touching anything, and the quote you agree is the price on the invoice. If we find something different from what you described, we tell you before continuing. The £49 call-out covers the visit and the diagnosis.

Often needed with this
Blocked drains
Cleared the same day with rods or high-pressure jetting, then camera-checked so it stays clear.
