Leak repairs, ceilings, floors and behind the bath
A drip through the ceiling, a wet cupboard floor, a bath panel that’s soft at the bottom. We find the cause, fix it properly, and open up only what we need to.
Shower and bath leaks are usually the seal, the waste or the trap, not the pipes. We check the simple things first.
What happens when we arrive
1
Find it
Flood test, dye, moisture meter, endoscope. We locate the leak before making a hole.
2
Repair it
Failed joint, split pipe, perished waste seal, cracked trap, blown silicone. All fixed from stock on the van.
3
Leave it dry
Test under load, dry the area, and a note on the making good needed if we’ve opened up.
What's on the van
Traps, wastes and seals
Copper, plastic and fittings
Bath and shower silicone
Endoscope and moisture meter
Dehumidifier
What it can and can't fix
Any water or waste leak in the property. Leaks from a boiler, radiator valve or heating pipe are isolated and the pipework repaired; the boiler itself is not our trade.
Timing and price
Most leak repairs are one to two hours once found.
There are no prices on this page because the price depends on what we find and where. What we can promise is how it works: the call-out is £49, the engineer looks at the job and quotes it in front of you before touching anything, and the quote you agree is the price on the invoice. If we find something different from what you described, we tell you before continuing. The £49 call-out covers the visit and the diagnosis.
